The Buddha said “One inch ahead everything is darkness.” But in that one inch we can see…there is so much to see. We have to look with better eyes.
When the sun rises, it’s a new day. The past no longer matters.

Every moment you spend wishing you were some place else is a moment you can’t get back. ~~Charlie Crews, Life.
“Still hurts, don’t it? You would think here it wouldn’t hurt. But it does. That’s just messed up.”
Empty-handed I entered the world
Barefoot I leave it.
My coming, my going -
Two simple happenings
That got entangled.
—Kozan Ichikyo (1283-1360)
Japanese Zen monk,
he wrote this poem on the morning of his death,
laid down his brush and died sitting upright.
Tonight
I wish you well.
May you be safe.
May you be whole.
May you be happy.
May your heart be full.
May you be healthy.
May you be free from pain.
May you live with ease.
May you be at peace.
You are loved.
The light in me burns brighter
because of the light in you.
When you are in that place in you,
and I am in that place in me,
then We. are. One.
Always.
